I am a small hobby breeder who whelps and raises pups with attention to structure and temperament.   I will gladly take back any dog that I have produced and attempt to re-home the pup/dog.  I  served as the Recording Secretary for MASCUSA, Parent Club for the breed.  I do everything I can to promote the breed and educate owners as much as possible.  

I DO NOT ALLOW VISITS TO GET TO KNOW THE BREED!  You can attend AKC dog shows or any AKC sponsored event to become familiar with the breed.  If you live close enough for a visit, I allow visits at 6 weeks of age, only for those who have placed a deposit.  I DO allow visits for pups 8 weeks or older to those families who wish to locate a pup and take it home that day.  There will be a $100.00 non refundable fee for the visit and will be deducted from the price of the pup.  I have had too many visitors that are not seriously looking for a companion for their families and just wish to come for a visit to have something to do for the day.  I never see or hear from them again.  Those that know me will attest that I love this breed and will take to time to get to know you, and spend the whole day with you if necessary.

I do health testing on my dams and sires and use health tested sires when using a boy from another breeder.  I do not ship my pups, but have owners that fly from Puerto Rico, Michigan, NY, etc. to pick up their pups.  

If you wish to own a Great Companions pup, I strongly suggest that you use Life’s Abundance food and vitamins for a period of 26 months.  My nutrition page will introduce you to our products and my reasons for the use of the products. 

If you are looking for a bargain pup, you will not find one listed with Great Companions. I am not a back yard breeder selling bargain pups.  If you are looking for a quality breeder who truly wishes to improve the breed, produce wonderful structure, and most importantly wonderful temperaments, then I am the breeder for you.  My goal is produce sound, healthy, offspring, building better structure and temperament than the generations that came before.  I microchip all my pups with a pre-paid registration for the owners.  No pup ever leaves here without being chipped.  I can rest assured that any dog that is lost or stolen can be traced back to me if found, because every chip I purchase is recorded by the company that I purchase from.  Pups have their first 5 way shot before going to their forever homes and will also be wormed.

It is important that you as a prospective owner know about the breed and are willing to learn more about training your pup.  My pup owners love their babies, never put them outside alone, and never tie them out in the yard.  They become part of their families, sleep with them and usually go everywhere with their owners.
